Thee Father first they sung Omnipotent,
Pavement that like a Sea of Jasper shon
No voice exempt, no voice but well could joine [ 370 ]
Made visible, th Almighty Father shines,
With Jubilee, and loud Hosannas filld
And flours aloft shading the Fount of Life,
Melodious part, such concord is in Heavn.
The full blaze of thy beams, and through a cloud
Towards either Throne they九-九-藏-书-网 bow, and to the ground [ 350 ]
Dark with excessive bright thy skirts appeer, [ 380 ]
Began to bloom, but soon for mans offence [ 355 ]
To Heavn removd where first it grew, there grows,
Amidst the glorious brightness where thou sitst
Approach not, but with both wings veil thir eyes,
Impurpld with Celestial Roses smild.
Immutable, Immortal, Infinite,
The multit九-九-藏-书-网ude of Angels with a shout [ 345 ]
With solemn adoration down they cast
God shall be All in All. But all ye Gods,
Eternal King; thee Author of all being,
Adore the Son, and honour him as mee.
Now in loose Garlands thick thrown off, the bright
Fountain of Light, thy self invisible [ 375 ]
And where the river of Bliss through midst of Heavn
Transfusd on thee his amp九_九_藏_书_网le Spirit rests.
Then thou thy regal Scepter shalt lay by,
Thee next they sang of all Creation first,
Yet dazle Heavn, that brightest Seraphim
Bind thir resplendent locks inwreathd with beams,
Th eternal Regions: lowly reverent
Thrond inaccessible, but when thou shadst
Then Crownd again thir goldn Harps they took, [ 365 ]
No sooner had th Almighty ceast, but all
Of charming 九-九-藏-书-网symphonie they introduce
Loud as from numbers without number, sweet
Like Quivers hung, and with Præamble sweet
Whom else no Creature can behold; on thee
In whose conspicuous countnance, without cloud [ 385 ]
Begotten Son, Divine Similitude,
As from blest voices, uttering joy, Heavn rung
Thir sacred Song, and waken raptures high;
Impresst the effulgence of his Glorie abides,
Harps九_九_藏_书_网 ever tund, that glittering by thir side
Adore him, who to compass all this dies,
Drawn round about thee like a radiant Shrine,
Immortal Amarant, a Flour which once
In Paradise, fast by the Tree of Life
Rowls ore Elisian Flours her Amber stream;
With these that never fade the Spirits elect [ 360 ]
Thir Crowns inwove with Amarant and Gold,
For regal Scepter then no more shall need, [ 340 ]
